This is not going to be a post bragging about why we're the best to work with but a genuine post about why we do what we do, and why that makes us different. When you're searching for a photographer there is a lot that you need to take into consideration, because it's not just about the final images. But the entire process. And that's where we differ. We are involved from the very start, we book an initial consultation to see if your ideas for what your looking for in a photographer as well as a photoshoot line up with what projects we're truly passionate about. The initial conversation is to see if not only our ideas for your photoshoot line up with what we do, but also to see if we are going to get along. We are 'people' people and the person comes first.
Creating art together is an experience and we go through every step with you. If you like our vibe and we like yours that's when we go ahead and build you a custom package. We don't have typical preset packages, we actually build each package custom to your individual needs and wants. It does mean taking our time to truly understand not only what you want for your final images, but how you see your photoshoot going. Things like; are we shooting in multiple locations, are we doing a small return of five images, or do we need to build a portfolio, do we need a studio rental, or do you want to be in the comfort of your own home. Things like these all get taken into consideration when we are building you a custom package.
Once we've created a custom package for you, then we get onto the vision boards. We go through and create a board for you, one that reflects the style of photography you're thinking of but also can help show styling options. We go through all of that with you. Often times clients will even send us pictures of their outfit options and usually we say to bring them all! You never know which one you're going to feel the most comfortable and confident in, and we typically include unlimited outfit changes during our time together.
Then its our time together, we typically send reminders ahead of time so you don't forget about our shoot day, or forget to pack anything. Our shoot days are always fun and relaxed, and unless we are shooting in a structured space we tend to shoot until we've gotten all the 'it' shots we could possibly get. We always joke that posing can be kind of like a rotisserie chicken we get all angles from all sides. We take breaks between shots, so make sure you've got water and snacks! You're going to want to keep up your strength for your pictures. After your big day you'll receive an email with a link to all your proofs, this way you can pick the images you like and then its all on us from there. We deliver the final images the same way, a link through your email so you can download them both to your computer and to your phone. If you are looking to add in any gifts, like a calendar, or a book of images we get those all set up and ordered for you as well. We truly do take each step of the process with you, and we keep your images for a maximum of three months, so if in a week you decide you want to order more images the option is always there. We truly do this out of a passion for art and capturing each unique persons beauty. That is part of what sets us apart. We are truly here for the art. You yourself are a unique work of art and we do the work to show you that!
